Person counting is the automatic counting of individual people as they enter, leave or move through a space. V-Count does person counting with Nano AI ceiling sensors, which track each person separately, record direction with up to 99% accuracy and send only anonymous counts to BoostBI. Retailers usually call the same thing people counting or footfall counting.

A people counting system is a sensor at each entrance plus software that turns the counts into reports.
